Recent discoveries, old questions: some thoughts on the archaeology and history of Euboea and its koine

Recent discoveries in the area of the so-called Euboea koine urge us to update the questions related with the archaeology and the history of the region.

In this paper, I would like to address some of these questions by taking into account recent archaeological research and discussing how this has affected our understanding of the history of the area.
