The ΑΕΘΣΕ will run from Thursday afternoon 27.2.2003 till Sunday noon 2.3.2003. Due to the large number of participants we felt obliged to expand the Meeting so that it will include a Thursday afternoon session. The programme for the Thursday afternoon session will be as follows:

  • 5-6 pm: Registration
  • 6-7 pm: Opening of the Meeting - Welcoming Remarks
  • 7-9.30 pm: Session dedicated to the archaeological work conducted in the area of Volos

Due to the large number of communications their duration had to be limited to 15΄. We do hope that you all understand how vital it is for the success of the Meeting not to let your papers exceed a 15' duration. This will allow us to have a 5' discussion for each paper, which will follow at the end of each session.

Two slide projectors for transparencies of 24-35 mm will be at your disposal. It is your responsibility to deliver and put your slides in order at the interval before your session.

Please let us know whether you are going to need an overhead projector or a PowerPoint system (for PC only).

Please make your own hotel reservation. For hotels please consult the webpage: http://www.travel-pelion.gr. You may also make use of the list of hotels provided below. They are all located within a distance of 5' minutes walk from the University:
