The oral history project of Hania, Crete
The presentation aims to enrich the rationale of the congress with the experiences of an oral history program that was developed from below in a community and specifically in Chania, Crete, on the initiative of the Prefecture of Chania and the contribution of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. We will refer first to the original project design, the problematic on which it relied, the working methods as well as the basic choices for its implementation. The great lines of its development will follow: the panorama of memory, the central thematic unities, the working groups as well as significant samples of work groups. The communication will be completed with references to the experiences of both researchers and informants.
