Student recording actions of the local historical memory. Educational approaches and questions about method and meaning

Attempting to interconnect the concepts of historical understanding, memory, narrative and locality in the educational process, we suggest some methodological patterns, which are based on integrated educational actiοns taking for granted the students’ interest and having a material final goal. An important role in the process of the student actions is attributed to the intuitive knowledge of children, their multimodal ways of expression, the parallel elaboration of oral sources with other evidence and the emergence of historical and cultural meanings.
