Photo stories: The ‘narration’ of the photographs of Asia Minor refugees
The digital collection of the Archive of Testimonies of Asia Minor Refugees of the Foundation of the Hellenic World, gives us a variety of autobiographical stories and personal experiences through interviews conducted around family photos. The communicative memory of our narrators recorded and transmitted through the Internet creates a new community, open to all. All these autobiographical photo stories give the opportunity to narrators that had been separated because of historical upheaval to come together, communicate and reconstruct a new community.
