Theodora Strinopoulou

Dora Strinopoulou has studied Archaeology in the University of Thessaly and graduated from the Interdisciplinary Postgraduate Programme of the History, Archaeology and Social Anthropology Department of the University of Thessaly. Her M.A. Thesis was on the “Votives in Sanctuaries. The case of krateriskoi from Attica and the high neck jugs from Eretria”. She has participated in the excavations of the Archaic-Hellenistic sanctuary of Kythnos, Cyclades and also in the underwater excavation of the ancient city’s harbour (University of Thessaly), in the excavations of the sanctuary of Apollo at Soros near Volos (University of Thessaly), in the excavations of the Archaic sanctuary of Apollo at Despotiko, Cyclades (Ephorate of the Cyclades), in the excavation of the ancient harbour of Falassarna in Crete (Ephorate of East Crete), at the Early Iron Age metalworking site at Skala Oropou, in Northern Attica (Archaeological Society) and at the survey of the Early Iron Age site of Kefala Skiathos (University of Thessaly). She also participated in the recording of the Roman pottery from Thasos (Ecole Française d’Athènes) and has collaborated with the Archaological Ephorate in Thessaloniki as a supervising archaeologist in Kassandra, Chalkidiki.

She has worked for the recording of the Coulson Archives and Library. Specifically, she has worked on the recording of the document folders, data entry of the books and off-prints catalogues.
