ARCHAEOLOGICAL MEETING OF THESSALY AND CENTRAL GREECE, 2006-2008
FROM PREHISTORY TO THE CONTEMPORARY PERIOD

Introduction

Following the success of first and second AETHSE meetings [ARCHAEOLOGICAL MEETING OF THESSALY AND CENTRAL GREECE] and pending the publication of its proceedings, we proceed to the organization of the third meeting, at the second week of March 2009 (12-15th March 2009).

The AETHSE is organized by the Department of History, Archaeology and Social Anthropology of the University of Thessaly, the Ephorates of Prehistoric and Classical Antiquities, of Byzantine Antiquities, of Contemporary and Modern Monuments of the Districts of Thessaly and Central Greece and the Special Regional Services of the Ministry of Culture.

The local Ephorates, the Universities, the Research Centres, the Institutes, the Foreign Archaeological Schools and the scholars who are active in the Districts of Thessaly and Continental Greece, are invited to participate.
