In my presentation I will look at the World Wide Web as a haunted space. Following the work of Derrida and others, I will examine the relation between technologies such as the Internet, and haunting as a central component of culture and of human existence. I will suggest that the Internet, the World Wide Web and in particular social media offer the possibility of new folklores of death.
