Trench A and B of he Visviki Magula near Velestino

The Neolithic settlement “Visviki Magula” near Velestino was excavated in 1941 by Hans Reinerth. Apart from the so called “megaron” on the highest point of the mound, Reinerth and his team also excavated two test trenches (A and B). We will present here the stratigraphy of the two trenches and give a review of the pottery analyses.
